EOS 25LR Laser Maintenance and WarningsWarnings:

• Never direct the beam of light and/or the laser directly into your eyes.

• Do not recharge the battery near flammable items and/or products.

• To prevent damage to the torch, things, or people, Mares recommends that you never leave the torch connected to the battery charger for more than 3-5 hours from the expected time for a full charge.

• Don’t use another battery which is not designed for the product and/or if it is seriously impacted or damaged.

• Make sure the battery is inserted following the correct polarity. • Be especially careful when tightening to avoid damaging the plastic threads on the charging base. • Do not use the torch out of the water.

• Remove the batteries if the torch will not be used for long periods or during transport.

• Make sure that the torch is turned off correctly after every use and before storing. To prevent the torch from switching on accidentally, we recommend that you fully unscrew the closing cap.

• If you anticipate extended periods of disuse, we recommend you recharge the battery every 3 months.

• Make sure the end cap is closed tightly before each dive.

• If water leaks occur or in the event of a malfunction, contact the Mares dealer where you purchased the torch or a Mares Service Center. 

• To prevent any possible occurence of electrolisys, do not use and/or store the torch in contact with metal objects. Routine Maintenance:

• Rinse the outside of the torch in fresh water after every dive, without disassembling it. • Keep the torch in a cool, dry place. The temperature must never exceed 50°C. • NB: Incorrect rinsing could lead to oxidation around the switch.

• Periodically (at least once a year or after 200 hours of dive), have the integrity of the O-rings checked at a Mares Service Center.
